Ships

The first four photos are of the ships in our NATO fleet. Also with us is a British Broadsword-class frigate, HMS Campbeltown, and the Spanish Baleares (ex-US Knox-class).

Dutch Karel Doorman Class frigate of the same name

American Spruance Class Destroyer, the Moosbrugger

German Brandenburg Class Frigate, the Mecklenberg Vorpommern

Portuguese Vasco da Gamma Class frigate, of the same name.

Below - this is a carrier ship we came across while on our way to Mauritania. She's carrying a Russian built Kilo Class Diesel Submarine. We understand it's on it's way from India to Russia to be rebuilt. Below - We came across this beauty while crew two was flying (Dave K, Me, Pete, and ten B). She's the Europa, a tall ship on her way (slowly) to Halifax for the tall ships celebration. We talked to the captain of the ship for a little while on the radio.
