Here are a couple of photos of
the more informal get togethers we've had on board. Above were taken
onboard our ship, and below are taken from the Fleet Air Det Social,
onboard the Portuguese Ship. The plaque Maj Rolston is wearing around his
neck is the SNFL Baby Pilot Award. Apparently Luke isn't the
greenest on the detachment, he's also the greenest in the fleet! To
welcome him as a member of the NATO flying crew, he was awarded a bronze
plaque and pacifier, a symbol to commemorate his time as junior fleet
co-pilot, a symbol he will wear with pride anytime we all get together,
and anytime we go downtown! |

He's seen here baiting our technicians with cookies and pop. Hey, Maj...
we've all read Hansel and Gretel! Don't fall for it guys, it might be a
trap!
Major Newton came out to visit and fly with us from Aarhus to
Wilhelmshaven. He had a great time flying with the det. C'mon out anytime,
Maj, just don't forget the cookies! |
